Payroll Associate II – Fairview Park, OH

Provides support in all areas of Payroll, Benefits, and Human Resources which will include accounting tasks, employment record maintenance, development and training, and payroll preparation. Responsible for accurately processing payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and providing support to the Human Resources department regarding payroll-related matters. This role plays a critical part in maintaining employee satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursements. 3+ years of demonstrated payroll experience and an Associate degree in Accounting are required. This is an office position.

 

Technical Assistant – Eatontown, NJ

Responsible for providing data processing support for underwriters and associate underwriters. Duties include providing service in working with underwriting teams to understand renewal programs and create/manage data records within the Agency Management System as appropriate. Primary responsibilities will include processing insurance policies, assisting with underwriting activities, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. Assures all related support activities are delivered in a manner consistent with business unit customer service focus. This is an office position.

 

Underwriter – Property/Casualty-Habitational Programs – Woodstock, MD

The Underwriter is responsible for underwriting, profitability, growth, and retention of new and renewal business that is consistent with underwriting strategies for assigned program. The Underwriter is accountable for managing a high-volume environment. In the role, they may act as a technical referral resource for less experienced Associate Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants. The Underwriter uses individual judgment and discretion to operate within authority levels as delegated by the Director of MPA. Associate degree and 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in insurance underwriting is required. This is a hybrid position.

 

Senior Underwriter (Cyber) – Wexford, PA

Responsible for assisting the department with underwriting projects. The Senior Underwriter for Cyber and Tech E&O will be responsible to underwrite Cyber and Tech E&O which entails rating, quoting, binding, policy issuance, endorsement issuance, risk assessment oversight, and mid-term service items. This may include new business or renewal business for the first year, settling into one or the other in the second year. This position is a production role and is not directly responsible for administration functions such as retail broker (client) management or business development. This is an office position.

 

Commercial Underwriter – Remote

5+ years of demonstrated insurance underwriting experience and 3+ years of commercial lines of business experience are both required. Responsible for underwriting, profitability, growth, and retention of new and renewal business that is consistent with underwriting strategies for assigned program. The underwriter is accountable for managing a high-volume environment. In the role, may act as a technical referral resource for less experienced Associate Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants. Ensure underwriting quality and profitability through application of the appropriate level of underwriting analysis based upon risk complexity to accept, decline, and quote these accounts. This is a remote position.

 

Account Manager – Eatontown, NJ

Responsible for assisting the department with underwriting projects. Expected to quickly learn the insurance systems used by McGowan to be successful. Tasks will be centered around excess liability underwriting facilities. Participates with the underwriter in the renewal and new business activities that support underwriting decisions. This is a hybrid position.

 

Real Estate E&O Producer – Fairview Park, OH & Remote

Primary role is to solicit, market, and bind new real estate professional E&O business and renewal accounts. Duties include fostering the growth of the MPA carrier and retail relationships, as well as assisting the Real Estate E&O Program Manager and Managing Director in complying with brokerage procedures and guidelines. An active insurance license and demonstrated insurance experience is required. This is a hybrid position.
